22YO American Oak ex-Bourbon Single Cask (HH0039)
This Old & Rare American oak ex-Bourbon barrel was filled on the 2nd of November 1999 and matured for 22 years and 5 months before being decanted on the 14th of April 2022. After an incredible, decades long maturation, HH0039 yielded just 58 bottles at 54%. The style of spirit we were producing in the year 1999 was destined for long-term maturation, and the benefits of those extra years are abundant in this cask. It is creamy and textural with full body and delicate oak structure. As the oldest Australian distillery release to date, we are incredibly proud to share HH0039 with you.
Each bottle comes in a handmade, solid oak presentation box, and includes a letter of authenticity signed by our Distillery Manager.

Bright fruit, beguiling brine and alluring spice reflect spirit style, and are supported beautifully by sweeter notes of the American Oak vessel from yester-Bourbon. There is nothing about this whisky that wants to be kept within a confine of glass. It is BOLD. Nevertheless, however, by no means brash. Rather, exceedingly vibrant and charismatic. I’m drawn in, hook, line and sinker. In fact, I think I’ll jump in after it."
